Very sadly Ruth, known to many as the lady with the hat, passed way unexpectedly on 7th July 2026.
She will be greatly missed both by her many storytelling friends for her friendship and her unique stories and by those she touched in the many other aspects of her life.
Her daughters have requested that her website be kept live for a short period as a tribute to a wonderful woman and a life well lived.
